We went camping at
Pymatuning state park over Labor day weekend. We had a lot
a lot of fun together as a family. The boys enjoyed helping their dad set up the camper, and start the fire.

On Saturday, we went to the spillway to see and feed the carp.
Disgusting, yet somehow fascinating. The boys mooched some bread off of some friendly folks and then I bought a couple of bags. They still wanted more, but come on.... look at those fish..... I don't think they needed any more of our money. One of the highlights of the day was after our picnic lunch.

Dan showed the boys how to make "straw rockets" from their juice pouches by blowing them up, bending the straw, and then stomping on them. What great fun. Why do we bother to buy them all those
expensive battery
operated things. Let's just go out and buy a box of
CapriSun and we'll be all set for hours and hours. If you look carefully you can see the yellow blur that is A.'s straw shooting out of the the pouch.

After lunch we went to the wild life learning center. It was a really interesting place with all sorts of hands on things for the kids.

Unfortunately we showed up about fifiteen min. before it closed. N. was so fascinated by it and so disappointed when we had to leave that we ended up going back Sunday afternoon.

Sunday after coming back from the wild life learning center we went fishing. Dan caught a couple of little fish.

A. Enjoyed petting the tails, and both the boys insisted that I take their pictures on the rocks.
